Over the past couple of days I tried a natural breeding between Reggie and Violet. Scott has been away so I had to go it alone. With Reggie being a Novice (as well as I :)..I couldn't get him close enough for a tie. Also, yesterday he started losing interest. I took them to State today to try a second AI. After Dr. Bailey did some tests he determined that Violet's cervix has closed. He said he could do a transcervical..but that it would be more expensive. I told him that we are fine with just one AI. If it doesn't work out it was a good dry run for us...since this is our first breeding. We scheduled an ultrasound for 9/20/16. Keep your fingers crossed.
